After graduation, I integrated my practice with cultural influences while living in Tucson, New York City, Tokyo, and Paris. Lasting impressions include Southwest desert landscapes, New York street art, contemporary Japanese calligraphy and ikebana, and Japanese and French contemporary art scenes. I worked as the Hands-on Learning Facilitator at the Walker Art Center in the Education Public Programs Department for 20 years. In 2009, I co-founded the Walker’s Contemporary Journeys program for people with memory loss and their care partners. Currently, I’m a teaching artist facilitating artmaking and gallery visits for groups of all ages and abilities.
